At Mount Olympus Performance we offer a number of different options when it comes to training,
the first of these are 1-2-1 sessions. This involves the client having the sole and undivided
attention of the coach. This option is suitable for all types of clients regardless of goals
(body composition, max strength, sports performance, injury rehab) as every session is individually tailored!
In order to avail of these sessions your first appointment must be in the form of a fitness consultation. This consultation examines but is not limited to:
At the conclusion of this consultation the coach will have a clear idea of where you are, where you want to get to and most importantly how you will get there!
These sessions are popular with two types of clients:
Sessions involve a group of up to three clients training with one coach; it allows a high degree of attention but at the same time the client is able to assume some extra responsibility. All clients in this category must first have received their fitness consultation to ensure that programs are designed for maximum effectiveness.
Here at Mount Olympus Performance we believe that sitting on a stationary bike and blindly pedalling for an hour or lifting a 2 kilo dumbbell for 50 reps does not bring about optimal results. Our classes focus on moving the body in a functional way with a high degree of power and coordination. We utilise our own body weight whenever possible along with modified forms of traditional strongman exercises. These classes are hard work but lead to great results!
As Bill Parisi once said "everybody is an athlete" and this is one of the core beliefs of Mount Olympus Performance.
A new service starting summer 2011 are our Speed and Sport Camps and these are designed for our younger clients.
Whether these clients play a sport or not each and every living person will benefit from greater movement
capacity and fitness and this is what we teach in our camps.
The camps are broken down into three age groups with each group having a different focus:
The above are the general groups, however, when necessary young clients may be placed in different sections at different times or a new section may be added in accordance with the ability of the youth.
