I Begun training with Michael at Mount Olympus performance 13 weeks before my first ever bodybuilding competition, on our first session I weighed in at 75kg and 13.5% body fat. Throughout the intense training sessions and with the expert advice and meal plans made to suit my nutritional requirements I lost almost 5kg of body fat taking me to 6.0%. Michael supported me through the heats of the competition day which finally resulted in a 3rd place trophy for my very first bodybuilding competition. Since then I have continued to train and compete always with the professional support from Mount Olympus performance



David MacAogain - U18 All Ireland 400m champion

I've been involved in competitive athletics since 2005. In April 2008 I wanted take my performances up a level, began training with Michael and have not looked back since. Up to this, I had won county and provincial medals however had struggled to compete at national level. Over the summer of 2008 Michael identified various weaknesses in my strength, power, conditioning and flexibility. The programs Michael has designed for me are second to none. Michael's conditioning sessions were extremely effective in increasing my lactic threshold, which is paramount to me as a 400m runner. In 2009 the benefits of training with Michael were clear. My 400m personal best reduced from 53.67 to 50.29seconds in less than 6 months. Michael's periodized programs led me to running my two fastest times in the two biggest races of the year which brought me all-Ireland gold and a place on the Irish U18 4x400m relay team. The 2010 season was not as successful due to my exam pressures and also an injury. However I am now back in full training for 2011, which would not have been possible without Michael's advice and rehabilitation training which Michael designed in conjunction with my physiotherapist. The knowledge Michael has in the various areas of competitive sport from nutrition and training to sports psychology is second to none.



Christina Furlong - Junior and Intermediate All Ireland Hammer Champion

Hi my name is Christina, I'm 17 and I've been working with Michael Bolger for almost a year now. I compete at a high level of athletics; my chosen event is the hammer. I approached Michael because I was encountering problems with the training programmes I was using at the time. Our relationship quickly grew because of his expertise and knowledge. Over the first year I worked with Michael I improved by 9 metres which is more than I ever set out to achieve. I believe Michael contributed hugely to this improvement. I am working with Michael on an ongoing basis because I feel he can bring me forward even more in the coming year. On a personal level, Michael is very down to earth and easy to work with. I know I'll be working with Michael for many years to come.



Keith Dwyer - Gym Warrior

My name is Keith Dwyer and although I am currently not a competitive athlete I would consider myself to train at a high and advanced level. Through working with Michael my strength and conditioning came on in leaps and bounds, however, my main reason for contacting Michael was to get my weight and body fat down and over the course of 12 weeks I managed to drop my body fat from 21% to 12.5%. I am delighted with the results and have been inspired to keep training harder and harder.
